Yukon Election Day

Every voice matters this election. Polling station are open today until 8 pm across the territory.

How can you vote?

Anyone 18 and over is eligible to vote in the territorial election. Polling stations are identified on voter information cards that typically arrive in the mail ahead of election day. Yukoners can also enter their address to find the designated polling station for their address through the Elections Yukon website. A full list of authorized identification can be found here.

COVID-19 protocols at polling stations

Polling stations will be run a bit differently this year due to COVID-19 protocols.

Pencils will be sanitized after each use and people will be expected to wear masks, maintain physical distancing and sanitize their hands when entering and exiting the polls.

People who applied for special ballots must return completed ballots to any returning office, where Elections Yukon has arranged for a delivery service to pick up the special ballots and deliver them to officials before the deadline.

The cut-off time at each location will vary, and can be found here.

Voting Results will be shown on CBC Online, TV, Radio.
