We are looking for an experienced Special Projects Coordinator to join our team! Reporting to the Executive Director, the position is responsible for leading special projects to completion in a manner consistent with the mission, vision, and mandate of YAWC. The position supports in planning, organizing, delivering, and evaluating initiatives and engaging with clientele for maximum impact on YAWC services.

 

Qualifications

The position applies knowledge of project management, event planning, grief counselling, and case management, with strong communications and organizational skills. The position serves clients from underserved populations with complex socio-economic and mental health issues, requiring support that applies strict confidentiality, good judgment, compassion, and self-care strategies.

Salary is $30 per hour. Position is term to March 2022 and open to remote work.
