This camp was designed for youth family members of MMIWG. Approximately 12 youth ranging in age from 5 - 18, attended the 6 day camp at Airport Lake near Carcross on March 14 - 20, 2020. All the youth participated in all the cultural traditional projects and life skills workshops that were mostly hands on. The facilitors were all members of the local First Nation Government which is Little Salmon Carmacks First Nation – They were elders, traditional knowledge keepers and skilled valued knowledgeable leaders. Other guests included staff from BYTE and Shakat Media.

The camp was delivered by YAWC MMIWG Outreach staff in partnership with Yukon Government, Family Information Liaison Unit (FILU).
