The 6-day camp was delivered on the east shore of Kluane Lake, at Shakt Tun Adventure camp, on the traditional territory of Champaigne/Aishihik First Nation. There were 21 family members of MMIWG and 11 youth and children who attended the camp. The elders and supports guided the participants through many activities and sharing cultural teachings. They set a fishnet, gopher traps, rabbit snares and picked traditional medicine. They also made moose hide scraping tools and face masks. There was campfire storytelling with lots of laughter.

Guests included the RCMP and Yukon Government health care providers.

The camp was delivered by YAWC MMIWG Outreach staff in partnership with Yukon Government, Family Information Liaison Unit (FILU).
