The Yukon First Nations Culture and Tourism Association will be hosting the third annual Bead, Hide & Fur Symposium from November 12 to 14, 2021 in Whitehorse at the Kwanlin Dün Cultral Centre.

This symposium will be open to Indigenous artists who work with beads, hide, fur and other natural materials such as quills and fish scales. The symposium will explore a variety of topics, host a workshop program, share information and ideas, identify challenges and opportunities within the sector and determine ways to continue building a vibrant and viable Indigenous arts industry. The two days of the symposium will be in a sewing circle format, with facilitated discussions and learning opportunities.
