We are looking for Indigenous Skills, Employment and Training (ISET) Selection Review Committee Members to join our team! The ISET Selection Review Committee member is a volunteer-based position that helps YAWC make informed decisions on ISET program funding applications.
Tasks of this position:
- Complete an orientation about the ISET program and committee responsibilities.
- Review assessment forms that evaluate the training goals with funding requirements for each applicant.
- Send the decision on funding request to the ISET Program Coordinator within two days by phone or email.
Committee members can review each applicant’s assessment form from the comfort of their home. Each assessment takes about 10-15 minutes. The amount of time required monthly may vary.
You will support Indigenous women and gender diverse people gain employment knowledge and skills and move one step closer to achieving their career goals. It’s also a great way to help your community!
Committee members are YAWC Board of Directors (excluding the President), staff (excluding the ISET Program Coordinator), and members at large.
